Collective Impact Programmes

Use Makerble for shared measurement among partners

1. AGREE SHARED OUTCOMES

Build a shared library of outcomes, indicators and other KPIs that can be allocated to partner projects in a couple of clicks. Designate outcomes as short, medium or long-term.

2. ORGANISE PARTNERS’ WORK INTO PROJECTS

Create as many projects as your Collective Impact programme requires. Create one project per partner or if multiple partners are collaborating on certain areas of work, add both sets of staff to the same project.

Each person has their own User Account that gives them access to their partner projects. Use the Colleagues App to give people Role-based permissions so that the appropriate members of staff within each partner have the right level of access.

3. TRACK INTERACTIONS WITH EVERY BENEFICIARY

You can create a Contact profile for every person impact by the Collective Impact programme. The Contact profile shows a timeline of the interactions that the person has had with each partner in the programme - Events attended, Outcome Assessments completed, Notes added. Control the level of access each partner has to each beneficiary.

4. CAPTURE progress towards OUTCOMES

Create a Theory of Change and logic model for the Collective Impact programme as a whole. Then assign specific outputs, outcomes and indicators to the relevant partner projects. Every partner has a project page that displays their individual progress towards your collective impact.

Automatically calculate Distance Travelled. Run a baseline, midline and endline survey with some of your beneficiaries to see the difference your Collective Impact programme is making.

5. SHARE LEARNING AND BEST PRACTICE

Add a digital component to your Learning Workshops. Invite participants to create short posts called “Tips” that include their reflections on how the programme is working well and where it could be improved. Tips are automatically shared among the partners.

Moving On Up is a collective impact programme funded by Trust for London and City Bridge Trust with subject matter expertise from BTEG. The programme aims to achieve better employment outcomes for young black men. The programme involves funded and non-funded partners from across two London boroughs. Makerble has made it possible for the collective impact partnership to:

  • Track the journey to employment of every beneficiary

  • Record the progress made towards job outcomes

  • Maintain stakeholder buy-in by being able to easily report on progress
