Support at every stage of setup

Onboarding 4 steps.png

Taking on a new system can be daunting. That’s why we work alongside you to understand your existing processes and tailor the Makerble platform to meet your requirements. We do all of the legwork required to set up your platform; you just need to tell us what you need Makerble to do, we’ll make it happen.

Step 1 - Design

Once you become a client, our first step is to hold a Kickoff Workshop. The purpose of this is to design workflows on the Makerble platform that meet your requirements.

During the workshop we:

  • Review your existing processes

  • Discuss how your processes become workflows on Makerble

  • Use the Onboarding Templates to map fields from your existing forms to fields and forms on Makerble

Step 2 - Build

We schedule in a regular 30 minute Weekly Catchup Session that starts the week after your Kickoff Workshop and continues until you’re satisfied that onboarding is complete.

During the weekly catchups we:

  • Show you the progress made on the build of your Makerble platform, e.g. new forms that have been added or bespoke functionality you have requested

  • Work through any remaining Onboarding Templates with you

  • Discuss and adjust specific settings that relate to your workflows

Step 3 - Import

We will migrate your historical data across to Makerble so you have as close to a seamless transition between systems as possible.

Data can be imported into Makerble in using csv files (spreadsheets) and API integrations with third-party databases such as Salesforce. We will work with you to:

  • Confirm which fields your historical data will map to on Makerble

  • Advise you on how to clean your data (should you require us to clean your data we can do that, however we find that in most cases, clients are better placed to remove duplicate records and export data from your current system, whether that’s a Microsoft Access database or something else)

  • Import your csv files

  • Set up integrations with your existing database(s)

Step 4 - Embed

Once the core of your platform is ready we move into the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase where a subset of your users (ideally one person from each User Group) is given access to the platform for the purpose of testing and feedback.

This is to ensure that the way the platform works in practice is in line with the requirements of the people who will be using it on a daily basis.

During this phase it’s normal for there to be adjustments that we need to make so we will discuss those in our Weekly Catchup and decide which adjustments to make.

Following the UAT phase we will provide training for each of your User Groups. We typically provide one training session per User Group. Each training session includes:

  • Training on the workflows relevant for that User Group

  • Recording of the training session

  • Crib Sheets (user guides)

We provide Superuser Training to the people in your organisation who will be the internal experts on how your Makerble platform is configured. Superuser Training covers how to perform administrative and troubleshooting tasks.

Once training is complete, you have ongoing access to Customer Support for any queries you have.
