5 things that happened in the Charity sector this week #NeverMoreNeeded special- 26th Feb 2021

#RightNow thousands of charities are campainging to fill the £10bn gap that will allow charities to continue to provide vital services now and beyond the pandemic. At Makerble, we’re backing the #NeverMoreNeeded campaign because we know that the work charities do each day helps change people’s lives, and our communities, for the better.

There are endless stories we could share, but here are just 5 examples of things charities are doing #RightNow to support the sector.

Charities are #NeverMoreNeeded

  1. Covid vaccinations for the homeless are happening in the first week of March in Manchester

Mustard Tree Manchester, Barnabus Manchester and Booth Centre are providing Covid vaccinations for the homeless on the 2nd, 4th & 5th March. This service will protect some of the most vulnerable in the city.

Youth Groups, like those provided by Young Bristol, are still happening online, helping young people to connect with others, get creative and provide support with their mental health and wellbeing.
