Charities and tech-for-food organisations celebrate Earth Day 2021
From charities like the Marine Conservation Society sharing how you can donate to their programmes helping to remove plastic from the ocean to the UN’s sustainable development goal’s team sharing their top tips for sustainable living, charities and non-profits have been celebrating Earth Day, marked on the 22nd April.
2. Organisations share resources and raise awareness of structural racism on Stephen Lawrence Day
The 22nd of April also marks 28 years since Stephen Lawrence was murdered. Charities and individuals have been sharing their tributes and thoughts for the family to mark the day. Organisations like the Big Issue shared the top 5 books about racism which have been recommended for reading by Stephen’s brother, Stuart Lawrence. You can see the list here.
