This article covers how local community groups use The Events App on Makerble to manage their bookings, whether for activities delivered 1-to-1 such as counselling sessions or for group activities such as workshops, walks and training sessions.
All the clients (service users, beneficiaries, stakeholders) you work with exist as a Contact in your account.
You can create an Event for each activity that you need to book someone into.
You can manage various aspects of the event:
Event Workers: volunteers, sessional workers and full-time staff who might be required at the event
Event Guests: your clients, service users and beneficiaries whom you have booked into the event
Messaging: you can send Event Guests one or more SMS messages or emails ahead of, during and after the event
Post-event Updates: register who attended and who did not. You can also record observations and progress towards outcomes
Organise your events days, weeks or months in advance. From the Manage Events page you can quickly see the number of guests and workers assigned to each event.
Powerful reporting is at your fingertips. When you need to produce data on the demographic breakdown of the people who attended your events, you can access the charts you need from the Manage Contacts page Splits tab.
