Plus Forth Valley are a Scottish charity that have been working with young people since 1988. Their challenge was that over lockdown, they found that their Microsoft Access database was breaking at the seams.
There was no remote access: staff had to physically be in the office or use citrix to access the database
Outcomes reporting was clunky
Recording timesheets for sessional staff was time consuming
Plus Forth Valley began the process of choosing a new database.
They worked with a pro bono IT & Data Security consultant to prepare their functional requirements and go out to vendors.
We put together a proposal which outlined how Plus Forth Valley could use Makerble and where we could add some extra functionality which would enable them to take advantage of the easy-to-use social media inspired interface on Makerble whilst having all the functionality they required, for example, the ability to link timesheets to events and put staff on different pay scales.
Plus Forth Valley staff now use Makerble to
