Use Anecdotes
There are many ways to measure your impact. This guide introduces you to six methods you can start using today.
* 1 of 6. ANECDOTES *
What is an anecdote?
The anecdotes you hear about the difference your work makes are valuable. For example, “I feel that there’s less of a strain on my relationship with my husband” is a benefit of your work.
How to find anecdotes
Ask your colleagues and volunteers the anecdotes they have heard from the people you work with. Add as much information as you can to the anecdotes about whether the same anecdotes occur for similar groups of service users.
How to use anecdotes
An “outcome” is simply a benefit of your work. So by gathering your anecdotes together, you are actually assembling a list of outcomes you achieve. You don’t need to word them in special ways; simply use the anecdotes you hear and if you want to, you can turn them into case studies.

You can start collecting your anecdotes and case studies for free using Makerble Stories.
