Christians in Sport nonprofit Impact Data Visualisation case study

About Christians in Sport

Christians in Sport work with amateur and professional sports people who are Christian. They provide support to individuals to help them live out their faith in the sports context. They run summer camps, bible readings and support groups.

How they use Makerble

Christians in Sport had worked with Eido Research to create hundreds of KPIs to measure their impact, but they had no way of organising the data collection across their work. Now they have surveys on Makerble linked to each of their KPIs. For any KPIs that are collected outside of surveys they track standalone metrics on our platform. Makerble has enabled them to make the most of their specific KPIs a data collection and analysis tool that is tailored to their needs.

Makerble has also been a place for them to collect anecdotes and stories, which can be helpful in adding narrative and personality to the data.

Christians in Sport use ThankQ as a CRM, so Makerble added an integration to import their data from ThankQ on a daily basis, so they could start using Makerble’s Impact Analytics without unnecessary disruption to their workflow and daily operations.

Now that they have their data and impact trackers all on one platform it is easier for each staff member to access the information and review their work. The organisation gets their staff members to reflect on how they can improve their impact on a monthly basis. All these reflections are stored in Makerble where they can be discussed with colleagues.

Makerble’s in-built Impact Analytics allows us to look at our programmes through the lens of every datapoint – stats, surveys, stories, even other systems – so we can better understand the impact our programmes have on the people we work with
