Understanding Your Homepage: 

Text Guide

  • This is your hub of information. Here’s:
    • Organisations you are a part of
    • The Projects or groups you are in and the projects that you are following
    • The participants that appear in the hub of information will be the MPs or media outlets that you are targeting
    • Progress: once you start using Makerble, all of your personal progress will be stored on this page
    • Your Newsfeed shows you the latest updates on what you, your team and the people and projects you follow have been up to
    • If you click...
      • In the name of the author of that story, it will take you to that Person's Profile
      • On one of the metrics on your Newsfeed, it will take you to that Story's Page
      • In the name of the project, it will take you to that Project's Page
    • You can favourite a story by clicking the heart located at the bottom left of the story
    • You can comment on a story in the comment box and then clicking ‘Post’ on the right hand side
    • The ‘Make New’ button in the top right corner is one of two main buttons from which you can navigate the site. It’s a menu from which you can create many of the elements on Makerble. It appears on every page of the site
    • The ‘More’ Button is the second main button to explore for quick links. It also appears on every page
